Living In The Vine

God Wants Not One To Perish!

You’re the God that overcomes! The God that wants not one to perish! How do we get to see this in our lives? What is my part?

Just the other day, this jumped out of the pages of God’s word. Well, we do this by the law of the harvest. Matthew 13:19 – 19When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. The one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown.”

Wow-what a promise, right? What a word! But how God, how can we be the seed that brings in a crop pleasing to you God?

Now the soil represents your soul, or your inner man, also known as the heart. The roots go deep and start to tap into the source the power this power is the Holy Spirit, which is the living water that is inside of you. Xochitl Dixon said it this way. “Our loving Father nourishes our hearts with his word. As his spirit transforms our character, he makes sure the fruit of our deep-rooted faith becomes evident to the people around us.”

So, we need to ask God to humble ourselves and surrender the altars of our hearts to let him work in us to grow our faith deep. His love waters it, and it is who he is. The message of his faithfulness, his promises, a glimpse of who he is and what has happened and what is to come with God’s Will and his plan. So as we read his word and believe it and claim it, use it as our daily miracle grow per se. We grow like a mustard seed the roots of faith in him. Not by power, not by might, not by our strength. But by Faith in The Spirit. We get this by being the Vine and us becoming his branches! 5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing. John 15:5.

This is growth this is transformation this is becoming the branch. Then the power of God comes upon you and you start to become a different person more like Christ, and you start the bearing of the fruits of the Spirit and stepping away from darkness into the light and freedom. Check out what Galatians 5:18-26 – 18But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. 19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking, and envying each other.

When people see the change, they feel the difference, and you become a witness of God and a living testimony of his faithfulness. Then as you live this righteous life, there is even MORE of him. Not only do you change, but you also get living water, and you see the blessing God gives and then he starts to use you if you’re willing and flows through you to make you a soul winner; that is why we get the anointing to the Graft.

Romans 11:16-24 – explains it great! 16If the part of the dough offered as first fruits is holy, then the whole batch is holy; if the root is holy, so are the branches. 17If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root, 18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you. 19You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.” 20Granted. But they were broken off because of unbelief, and you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but tremble. 21For if God did not spare the natural branches, he will not spare you either. 22Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God: sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise, you also will be cut off. 23And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again. 24After all, if you were cut out of an olive tree that is wild by nature, and contrary to nature were grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!”

How exciting that this is our job as we are to be connected to Christ full of the water and nourishment, we then come along beside those that are dead or starting to dry up, and we show them Christ. It happens when Christ opens our eyes, our ears, our time, our wallets. He opens our hearts to have a heart overflowing with love. By the Spirits leading, we get to place them into the Vine, and they too will get a life and bear much fruit. We are the gift-givers, the grafters, or the ones who get to go for him. The thing is many Christians today want God’s benefits without the cutting open of yourself to bring oneself in. It’s a choice to stay in the Vine in faith. One he gives you. See, you must choose to remain in Christ. We want to love, to give, to serve to be Jesus in the flesh. To live by faith and not by sight. So, will you stay in the Vine? Will you be the seed that produces much fruit? Will you be the branch that is alive and flourishing for the kingdom? If so, you’ll get the privilege to make that choice today. Let today be that day that you walk into the year of the Lord’s favor Isaiah 61.

The Year of the Lord’s Favor: Isaiah 61: 1-3 1The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Let us bear much fruit today by letting “Jesus Christ the word of God in human Tabernacle.” (Ev. Kovi) take root in us!

I don’t know about you, but I want that temple or branch to be me.
