  1. I had a bad case of arthritis in my left arm, and I resisted Satan and spoke to him to flee from me, and lo and behold, my arm was healed.

    Also, once when I used to drink, I was deceived about drinking wine when I read about Jesus being a winebibber, but after I quit drinking, the Holy Spirit revealed the scripture about taking the log out of my eye to see my sin more clearly.

    And that as long as a person is in sin with something, they will try to justify their sin and not see it as sin.

    So scripture can work regardless but taken out of context, it can be deceiving.
