Truth Versus Judgement

Truth Versus Judgement

Matthew 7:1-5 says 1Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. 3“Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye. See what that means is we don’t judge, or you’ll be judged. Pretty easy huh, but let us go a little further and you’ll see in Matthew 7:16-17 15“Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 16By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. 19Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them. See, Satan is the father of lies and is very skilled in taking the word of God out of context. Those of us who have been set free are called to speak the truth in love and not remain silent about it. Righteous living is properly seen as a fruit of authentic faith and never the other way around. My wife always says to me, If I’m living wrong, why am I so blessed?

Christians who know the truth need to speak the truth and ignore the enemy who says you are judging when you do so. See, there is freedom in God, and if you do this in love and they get mad and start calling you names, remember they did the same thing to Jesus. Romans 1:28-32 28Furthermore, just as they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, so God gave them over to a depraved mind, so that they do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they have no understanding, no fidelity, no love, no mercy. 32Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. To sum that up is simple. If you don’t want God in your life, he will give you over to a depraved mind. Depraved means are very evil with an immoral character. Let’s go a little deeper into Romans 1:28-32, and you’ll see that is happening right before our eyes in our society. We accept homosexuality, rebellion, and all forms of false doctrine in our society. This is what happens when people deny or suppress the connection between God and truth. See, this is the hard stuff! This is cling to Jesus with all you have as we have been set free, to tell the truth. You are called to speak the truth in love and not remain silent.

If you are connected to God and his word, you won’t lose. They will get mad at you and call you a hypocrite and so on but always stand on the word of God no matter what. In John 8:31-32 says 31To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” The truth will always set you free, but many people take truth for judgment, which is a lie from the pit of hell. In Psalms 34:19 says, “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.”

So who did Jesus have the most problems with? I will tell you it wasn’t sick or the homeless. It was the religious leaders. They lied about him, accused him of false accusations, and put him on an old rugged cross, but why? I can tell you in three letters ~ SIN! Sin means an immoral act against God or divine law. To me, it means STUCK IN NOTHING! Since we are afraid to offend anyone, they think you judge them when you speak the truth. Well, if you are not living by the word of God and claim to be a believer, then it’s my job to show you the truth in love. Let me tell you, love doesn’t yell, scream, put down, or hurt. It tells the truth and says, for example, you can say listen, my friend, your sleeping with another man’s wife, and God’s word says this about that. If there is one point I need to really come home to is always do this in love. We need to study God’s word to show thyself approved. God’s word is so powerful it will judge you if your living wrong. If they flip out and ask you to leave or call you names and say you are judging them, my friend consider it pure joy. Read James Chapter 1.

I have fought many battles on my knees this last year, and the people who are religious, like the Pharisees and Sadducees, are the ones who came out after me. I have people that I have helped turn on me and say I’m judging them, but God’s word will judge you when you do not live right. Sometimes when your faith is too great, people will not want to be around you as your faith scares them. See, when you operate in the word of God, it will look totally different than mans way, and the Sunday Christians who only go to church to check off that weekly box will not want to be around you because you’re a threat to their comfort or a certain way of doing things. The old wineskins who are dried up chase out the new wineskins who are on fire for the word of God.

Last year many Churches who claimed to preach the word of God were hit out of the blue, with COVID-19. It really threw many churches into chaos. I saw many pastors close their doors. Some went to jail as they saw this deception from the enemy and prayed and stood on Psalms 91! They stood on the word of God!! I get excited saying that!!! They were not going to bow to Satan and the government’s evils ways, but many closed the doors of their churches, and now was time for people to sit in the comfort of their homes and listen online to the word of God. Hold up; this isn’t judgment. This is the truth! Do we not believe the whole word of God? I’m not saying COVID-19 isn’t real, but you either stand on Psalms 91, or you don’t. You can’t have it both ways.

My question to everyone is if you are so scared of COVID, you better never leave your house, but you do. You are in touch with tons of people during the week, but you think people are too scared to come into church but go out to eat, Walmart, pump gas, and so on. Isn’t a pastor suppose to stand and lead the flock on the word of God? The truth is your faith isn’t operating the way it should be, as many pastors claim people would never come inside because of COVID-19. See, to be a leader, he needs to set an example, and pastors failing to stand on Psalms 91 and telling their congregation it’s OK that the church is closed is a lie from the pits of hell. Preaches I have heard preach say that they are never going back inside until COVID-19 is gone. See, that is the truth, as many have said this. My dear friends, they can’t cure cancer, the flu, or the common cold, and COVID-19 is a moneymaker for them, so it is not going anywhere. It has been almost a year, and your church is either closed, or the only way to hear you speak is by listening online. By the looks of things going on in this world, Satan has taken out the weak churches.

Please keep in mind I do this in love, and it hurts me to think that so many Pastors and Christians have so much dislike for me for speaking the truth. See, friends, this isn’t based on a judgment. It is based on 100% truth. There are over 37 bible verses on judging. Jesus tells us to look at our own sin before judging someone else. I have looked over and over at my life, and I believe in Psalms 91. I believe in the whole bible and everything that God says. I come in love with the word of God. People will call me a troublemaker, and that I don’t know what I’m talking about. My coming to you isn’t out of judgment but truth and love. I’m not judging people when discerning behavior or beliefs are clearly unbiblical.

So let me wrap this up. In Matthew 7:3-5, Jesus is making a point of judging others when you are guilty of what you are accusing someone else of. That is what you call a hypocrite. For example: if I was sleeping with another man’s wife and then went to my brother and said, what you are doing is wrong, I’m a hypocrite, and I’m judging him as I’m doing the same thing he is. If I take care of the sin in my life and then go to that person in love and say God’s word says this, that is truth and not judgment. The truth always needs to be brought in love, and when it does, God’s word will judge your sin.

It is not my word that condemns you or judges you. It’s his word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword. God will judge you based on his word, and my job is to speak the truth no matter what the cost because if I don’t speak the truth, then I am part of the problem. God’s word will protect me, and you always need to speak the truth!

So let’s get the truth out in love.

  1. Thank you for writing this.

    It is Truth.

Many if not all churches are afraid and have either closed or only allow 25 people or less.

It saddens my heart to see how this is going.

May we all stand on Psalm 91 and open up our churches again!
